スーチューマー suuchuumaa (suucuumaa) ⓪ 名
- 地方の農村や先島などで無学な人のために用いられた一種の文字。農作物･家畜などの種類･数量とか年月日などを表わす符号で,その多くは象形的なものであるが,簡単な漢字に似せたものもある。商取引や租税の付課･徴収の証書などに用いた。中国語「数籌碼」の借用語であろう。
