• 混効験集 Konkoukenshuu (1711), "Words of the Royal Palace", page 4, records the spelling けふ kefu, with notes indicating the pronunciation is typically キヨ kiyo (kiyu) in songs, and チヤウ chiyau (chuu) in the common language.
